As demand grew, we turned to Her Heart's Find a Female Cardiologist directory, a resource that had become heavily used by women seeking gender-sensitive cardiovascular care. We are evolving this into a broader Find a Heart Health Specialist directory: a secure, scalable professional database with advanced search and location functionality, self-management capability for health professionals, administrative tooling for the Her Heart team, and core integrations to support compliant communication, all built to reduce the administrative burden on a small not-for-profit team while improving access to care nationally. 

Alongside the directory, we are delivering a Research Matching Portal, a lean, purpose-built platform that allows approved researchers to publish study opportunities and participants to register interest in a structured, secure online environment, with appropriate governance and oversight for Her Heart throughout. The build was deliberately scoped to be proportionate and sustainable, avoiding the cost and complexity of an enterprise research infrastructure platform while still giving Her Heart a credible, secure way to connect researchers with participants.
